Important Information About Little League Age and Tryouts

Little League International requires all new and returning players to complete a tryout each year. Little League International also uses established calendar dates to determine a player’s “playing age.”  The 2018 season hardball (baseball) calendar dates used by Little League International may make your player’s “playing age” different than their actual age now or during the season(SEE GRID BELOW).  In our effort to make the tryout experience efficient for you and allow us to properly evaluate your player for placement purposes, it is important for you to review and understand your player’s baseball playing age.
